Football: Kaká, Hazard, Makélélé or Drogba, stars on hand for a charity match in Qatar

A five-star cast. The organizers of the “Match for Hope” charity match have recruited former football stars for the event. Two teams, coached by Arsène Wenger and Antonio Conte, will bring together big names like Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, Claude Makélélé, Kaká, Roberto Carlos and David Villa. The retirees will put on their crampons again on Friday February 23 in Qatar. In the Ahmad-ben-Ali stadium of Al Rayyan other stars will make the trip such as the freestyler Séan Garnier or the French influencer Just Riadh (5 million subscribers on Instagram).

This meeting will aim to raise funds which will then be donated to the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation. This global non-profit organization works to promote education. She will use the money raised to finance her projects in Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania, Pakistan, Palestine and Sudan.

The two team captains will be videographers Chunkz and AboFlah. The latter explained the approach to this charity match: “As a young man, participating in the Hope Match means much more to me than playing football,” said AboFlah. It’s about bringing together creators like me and football legends from around the world to raise money for an important cause that supports children in need. »
