Football: insulted live by a technician, En Avant Guingamp demands an apology

The video made people smile on social networks. But it hardly amused the leaders of En Avant Guingamp. Saturday, live during a D 1 Arkema women’s match between the local team and Fleury (3-1), a technician from the production company responsible for providing the images of the match completely broke down at the end of the game.

Very annoyed by the incessant rain which fell on the lawn of the Akademi field and by his poor working conditions with equipment which was taking on water, the cameraman slightly lost his temper ten minutes from the end. With Fleury on the pitch, and very flowery language on the edge…

We hear him complain on several occasions about a “shit club”, about a city he hates and where he will never set foot again, multiplying the swear words and “anything” and asking a colleague to warn that “the equipment is ruined”.

Faced with the impact of the sequence, which went viral, the Breton club reacted. Guingamp thus sent a letter to the French federation to request that the technician no longer cover women’s D 1 matches, “whose image he has sullied by the rudeness of his interventions”, and even less in Côtes-d’ Armor.

The club also demands that the production company and its employee apologize to the city, whose image they believe has been tarnished.

“It is with great sadness and desolation that the club discovered this weekend the scandalous words made on the air by an FFF TV technician during the meeting of D 1 Arkema Guingamp – FC Fleury 91, explains in a communicated the club dear to the former president of the FFF Noël Le Graët. These offensive remarks made against the club and the city of Guingamp led the EAG to send a letter to the French Football Federation. »
