Fabio Quartararo to Complete Contract with Yamaha in 2024, Focused on Improving Performance

Contract Fabio Quartararo with Yamaha will be completed in 2024. Not wanting to discuss the future, El Diablo wants to focus on improving motorbike performance.

Yamaha is still not okay with looking at MotoGP 2024. In the Qatar MotoGP test, the French rider was in 14th position on the second day. He recorded a time of one minute 52.965 seconds, 1.013 seconds away from Francesco Bagnaia who was the fastest.

Because Yamaha motorbikes are less competitive, Quartararo is said to be considering leaving. Last season, Yamaha could only record three third place podiums, never winning at all throughout MotoGP 2023.

Asked about the future, Quartararo emphasized that he had not yet thought about discussing the future. He is now focused on improving motorbike performance.

“Personally, I have great confidence in this project,” said Quarterly of GP One.

“Even if the moment was complicated, the team did its best. My future? I only think about how to improve the motorbike’s performance,” he added.

MotoGP 2024 will start on March 10 2023. The Qatar MotoGP race will be the opening, the race will take place at the Lusail circuit.

Quarterly He has raced at Lusail four times. His best achievement was finishing fifth in the 2021 Qatar MotoGP.
