In the Parish of S. Dionigi it is customary to propose, during Lent, some training, spirituality and in-depth meetings. These are the “LENT”. This year the choice is to focus on the theme of the Church, born right under the cross, in the moment in which – as the Gospel according to John tells us – Jesus, before dying, entrusts his Mother to the disciple and the disciple to the Mother. “From that moment the disciple took Mary into his house” (cf. John 19:26-27).
In 2024 the parishes of the Diocese of Milan will be called to choose the members of the new pastoral councils. The renewal of the Parish Pastoral Council and the Parish Economic Affairs Council cannot, however, be experienced well if not in awareness of the mystical nature of the Church. Anyone who does not realize this will not be in the right spirit in living this ecclesial moment.
All events offer a range of reflections, testimonies and insights of an ecclesiological nature. On the last Friday, participation in the “Via Crucis Cittadina” will allow us to experience belonging to the Diocesan Church.
