JawaPos.com – Young Indonesian national team defender Elkan Baggott has officially been loaned by Ipswich Town to Bristol Rovers FC until the end of the season.
Bristol Rovers FC itself is a club from the city of Bristol in England. Bristol Rovers FC currently occupies eleventh position in League One, namely the third caste of the English League.
Previously, Elkan Baggott had been on loan at King’s Lynn Town, Gillingham and Cheltenham Town.

Elkan also made history as the first player from Indonesia to play in the EFL.
The Indonesian national team defender also made 24 appearances for the Garuda squad and managed to score two goals after making his international debut in November 2021.
Elkan has also played 29 times for Gillingham during the first half of the 2022/2023 season before he joined Cheltenham Town in the second half of the season.

After returning to Ipswich Town, Elkan Baggott appeared four times in the EFL Cup in the 2023/2024 season before he defended the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup.
Elkan Baggot also succeeded in bringing the Indonesian national team through the group phase of the 2023 Asian Cup as the third best and his progress had to be stopped in the round of 16 after losing against Australia.
Elkan Baggot revealed that he had held discussions with the manager to give his best performance.

“I’ve had a chat with the manager. The way the team plays here, the environment, is something I think really suits me. The set-up is really good, so I think it gives me the best chance to perform at the highest level that I can,” said Elkan Baggott was reported by the official website of the Bristol Rovers FC club.
