BRISTOL – Defender of the Indonesian National Team (Timnas), Elkan Baggott received an unfavorable assessment when Bristol Rovers were defeated by Burton Albion 1-2 in Week 31 of the 2023/2024 English League 3. Elkan is said to have appeared less than solid in this match.

Elkan Baggott played the full part in the Bristol Rovers versus Burton Albion match at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol, England on Saturday (10/2/2024). Two goals for Burton Albion were recorded by Clara Gilligan (43′), and Mark Helm (57′).

Meanwhile, Bristol Rovers were only able to score one goal via Antony Evans (60′). Elkan, who was irreplaceable in the match, received poor marks from British media, Bristol World.

The media gave Elkan a score of 5 for his performance in the match. The 21 year old player was said to have been poor when anticipating attacks from Burton Albion.

“Struggled physically (against) the Brewers – Burton Albion’s nickname – and didn’t look sharp. “Can’t overcome Burton’s attack speed,” wrote Bristol World, quoted on Sunday (11/2/2024).

Of course, this assessment must be an evaluation for Elkan for the next match. Moreover, Elkan had to lose in his last two matches with Bristol Rovers.

On the other hand, Elkan actually received quite a good assessment from Sofascore. The Indonesian national team defender was given a score of 7.0 for his performance in the match against Burton Albion.

According to SofaScore statistics, Elkan managed to make two interceptions, five clearances and 11 wins from 19 aerial duels. He was also recorded as being able to make 60 of 79 accurate passes in that match.
