Eintracht just can’t move forward!
The Frankfurt attack has stalled since the beginning of the year. 0-2 defeat in Cologne. Dusel 1-0 against Mainz. The 2-0 lead in Darmstadt was lost because Eintracht stopped the offensive. A happy 1-0 in Leipzig, where goalkeeper Trapp secured the victory.

Now there is finally hope for the Eintracht storm. The new signings Hugo Ekitiké (21) and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya (18) have something that Eintracht urgently needs: speed, feel for the ball and self-confidence. In addition, top scorer Omar Marmoush (24) is finally coming back. He can score goals (12 before the Africa Cup).

Egypt star Marmoush finally returned to Frankfurt after recovering from a cold. The Egyptian should slowly start team training again on Tuesday. He can be fit until the game against Bochum (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.).
With him and assist Farès Chaïbi (21) alone, Eintracht Frankfurt secured 6th place in the preliminary round. Without both of them, the team failed to gain a points lead in the second half of the season.

Toppmöller: “We simply have to present ourselves better in terms of football! If not, you always have a key moment in the game that goes against you.”
