After a long wait, EA Sports has finally released the first trailer for its upcoming college football game. This Thursday (16), the sports division of Eletronic Arts posted the video about College Football 25.
The producer stated that it will make a full reveal of the game in May 2024. The teaser video showed the making of a shirt that said “yes, it’s really happening” on the back, as fans awaited the return of the game, which went through a long approval process with the NCAA.
The game’s return was announced in 2021 and was expected to be released in 2023. However, the developer chose to wait another year. EA Sports hasn’t released a college football game since NCAA Football 14, released in 2013. And after 11 years, it returns to the market with College Football 25.
Several reports have noted that the game is once again expected to feature a “Dynasty” and “Road to Glory” mode, just like in NCAA 14. Although it will be built on the “engine” of Madden – Eletronic Arts’ NFL game – , the new game is not expected to be the same as the famous professional league game with different uniforms and stadiums.
The official release of College Football 25 has not yet been announced by EA Sports, but it is expected to happen months before the 2024 college football season.
