Dupont and the Blues start well

The Blues had the United States this Friday, in Vancouver, for the big debut of the star of Toulouse and the XV of France.

Antoine Dupont, first! With the 2024 Olympics objective in mind, the player from Toulouse and the French XV has embarked on the adventure of rugby 7 for several months. It was the big day, Friday, in Vancouver: Dupont took part in its first stage of the world circuit with a (nice) 24-12 victory against the United States.

The 27-year-old star entered the second period, notably committing a forward. Note that the Americans got the best start in this meeting (0-7) before seeing the French take control (14-7 MT) and the lead (24-7) after Rest.

Dupont and his comrades will face Samoa on the night of Friday to Saturday (4:40 a.m.), then Australia on Saturday (10:49 p.m.) to finish the group stage. The final phase will begin on the night of Saturday to Sunday.
