He highlighted that for the UMFFAAC, science, specialization and technicalization in the field are of utmost importance, especially in these times of crisis due to drought.

And one of the products that can maximize water use in periods of drought is glyphosate because it prevents soil tillage, which in turn reduces water evaporation and helps retain moisture.

In addition, glyphosate prevents the burning of crop residues and prevents the polluting emissions produced by this practice.

For this reason, it is necessary to review the decree that will prohibit the use of this herbicide as of April 1, since no product has been found that can replace the efficiency, effectiveness and low cost it has for the producer, said the leader of the UMFFAAC.
