DPWT Elvira and Van Driel in charge, no French in the top 10

This Saturday the third round of the Magical Kenya Open took place in Nairobi. Manuel Elvira returned to Darius Van Driel at the top of the rankings, while the French did not shine.

Complicated day for the French contingent in Kenya. Thus, none of the four French people still in the running managed to play under par during this moving day, a time suspended due to a flooded course. Eighth at the end of the cut, Frédéric Lacroix fell to 53rd position (-1 total) after returning a card of 75 this Saturday.

In good shape for several weeks, the 29-year-old stalled severely on the first leg, conceding four bogeys and a double bogey on his first seven holes. The Racingman still managed to finish on a positive note by making two birdies, at 17 and 18.

Likewise, Jeong weon Ko was not much more successful and could not do better than a score of 72 (two bogeys, one birdie). The student of Alain Alberti is in 43rd place (-2 total), alongside, in particular, his compatriot, Adrien Saddier, author of a second result in a row in par (three birdies, three bogeys). Further on, David Ravetto, victorious last week on the Challenge Tour, completed the Muthaiga Golf Course in 73 strokes (three bogeys, one birdie) and ranks 59th (by total).
