The judokas Medickson of the Orb, Antonio Tornal and Moira Morillowill compete this weekend in the Judo Grand Slam in Baku, Azerbaijan, which will award points for classification to the Olympic Games Paris, France 2024.
The athletes of the national senior judo team are in Baku, where they will take to the tatami today and tomorrow when the competitions will take place.
Del Orbe will compete at -81 kilos, while Tornal will see action at -73 kilograms, and Morillo at over 78 kilos. The three judokas, who made the trip with the support of Grupo Creso, are accompanied by coach Wilkin Ogando.
The Baku Grand Slam will award ranking points in each category towards Paris 2024.
