Doc Rivers has been coaching the Bucks for a month, a month that has not exactly been quiet. The turbulent situation of the team, some painful defeats and the recent controversy over his statements have generated a lot of commotion around him, but he remains optimistic and, despite admitting that the team is not currently at the level to be champion, he believes that it is going for good way.
«Could we win a title today? “I don’t know,” she admitted. «But when the time comes to fight for him, I think the answer will be yes. I’m happy, I love this team. “The organization is very solid and I think we have a real opportunity.”
The Bucks have a record of 5-7 since the coach’s arrival, although these numbers do not necessarily tell the whole story. In this period they have added promising victories, such as the beating of the Nuggets and the victory in Minnesota, and they have improved significantly on a defensive level, which was the main problem with Griffin. Last night, they beat the 76ers quite comfortably by 98-119, a match in which Rivers was received with boos by his former fans but after which he only had good words for his time in Philadelphia.
