Dennis Schröder Adjusts to New Coach as Brooklyn Nets Make Midseason Changes

Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder has to adjust to a new coach after just three games for the Brooklyn Nets club. The team from New York parted ways with head coach Jacque Vaughn on Monday during the All-Star Game break, reacting to the unsatisfactory sporting situation.

At the end of the transfer period on February 8th, Schröder moved from the Toronto Raptors to the Nets, who thus continued their upheaval. Brooklyn (21:33 wins) is currently in danger of missing the play-offs as the eleventh best team in the East.

Vaughn replaced former MVP Steve Nash as coach in 2022, who did not have the success he had hoped for with the then star team of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden. The Nets only extended Vaughn’s contract until 2027 in February 2023.
