Ouch moment after exactly 16 seconds of play: Bamberg’s Zach Copeland jumps up while throwing to the basket – and unfortunately hits Bayern’s ex-NBA star Serge Ibaka in the abdomen! Testicle hit! The Munich player falls to his knees, but can then continue playing with his face distorted in pain.

Curious scene at 12:7 for the hosts: Carsen Edwards stands at the throw-in – directly in front of NBA star Dennis Schröder (black cap, black jacket, black hoodie, black sunglasses). Then the Bayern star turns around and greets the world champion with a fist bump!

Schröder (just traded from Toronto to the Brooklyn Nets) is visiting because he has a five-day break in the NBA for All-Star Weekend. After the first quarter (Bamberg for 22:21), kids and fans lined up for autographs and selfies. And Schröder goes along with everything with a big smile.

In the 17th minute, Bayern were ahead by double digits for the first time (37:27 thanks to Ibaka’s tenth point). Munich went into the break with a 48:32 lead. Bayern ended the third quarter with a lead of 63:41.

Bamberg went on a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter to make it 62:76 – too late to turn the game around! Serge Ibaka, who ended up being Bayern’s best scorer with 15 points, after the semi-final at Dyn: “Our focus was the key to success. And that we played well together at the front and back. We made good shots on offense. I’m very hungry for my first title here in Germany, I’m happy to be here.”

Schröder will also be sitting in the front row in the second semi-final, which takes place immediately after Bayern’s victory in Munich. However, on the orders of Bayern boss Marko Pesic, the security service is now shooing away the fans who want a selfie and autograph so that the NBA star can enjoy the Top Four in peace.

Mega crime thriller in the final phase! The Ulm team set the course for victory with a 13-2 run, driven by the outstanding Trevion Williams, who said after the game at Dyn: “I’m very proud of us!
