Curry made the NBA All-Star team for the tenth time

NBA superstar Stephen Curry has been elected to the all-star team of the best basketball league in the world. The three-point specialist from the Golden State Warriors was named by the league’s head coaches as a reserve player for the team from the Western Conference in the game on February 18 in Indianapolis and will thus take part in the highlight for the tenth time.

The players for the starting lineup had already been nominated. LeBron James received the most votes, making him the captain of the Western Conference team.

This is the 20th participation for the 39-year-old from the Los Angeles Lakers, which is a record. In the East, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks has been selected as captain.

Maxey leads 76ers back to winning ways

The NBA also played on Thursday. Tyrese Maxey from the Philadelphia 76ers stood out in terms of points. With his career high of 51 points, he helped his team in Salt Lake City to a 127:124 victory over the Utah Jazz after four defeats.

The 76ers were still without Joel Embiid, who suffered a meniscus injury in his left knee. Because his team did not place him on the injured list in time in the match against Denver, Philadelphia has to pay a $75,000 fine.
