Several games took place in the National Basketball Association (NBA) last night. In one of them, Stephen Curry had the most productive performance this season, but his Golden State Warriors lost 134-141 to the Atlanta Hawks in overtime.

Warriors superstar Curry scored 60 points on 10 long-range shots. Curry remained one step away from the career record – in the January 2021 match against the Portland Trail Blazers, he scored 62 points. These are the only two times Curry has scored at least 60 points in his career.

This time, however, it was not enough for success, as Trey Young was productive in the ranks of the “Hawks” with 35 points. Onyeka Okungwa added 22 points and 16 rebounds, Jalen Johnson had 21 points and Dejonte Murray had 19 points, including seven in overtime.

For the Warriors, reserve Lester Quinones scored 17 points, while Jonathan Cummings scored 16 points at the end of regular time and did not help the team in overtime. Also, Andrew Wiggins suffered a foot injury at the beginning of the game.

In another game between European basketball stars, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to overcome a 25-point deficit and in the end beat the Dallas Mavericks – 129:117. Giannis Adetokunbo led the Bucks with 48 points and 10 rebounds, while Damian Lillard made 10 of 11 shots for 30 points and eight assists.

At the other end of the court, Luka Doncic stood out with 40 points, 11 assists and nine steals, while 21 and 20 points went to Maxi Kleber and Josh Green. It should be mentioned that the Dallas team was still not helped by Kyrie Irving.

Finally, the Los Angeles Lakers ended the New York Knicks’ nine-game winning streak with a 113-105 victory on the road. After missing one and two games, respectively, “Lakers” leaders LeBron James and Anthony Davis returned to the lineup. LeBron scored 24 points and was the team’s leading scorer, while Davis had 12 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks. Austin Reaves scored 22 points.

Jalen Branson, who had 36 points and 10 assists on his account, played another excellent game in the “Knicks” team, which has been without center Mitchell Robinson for a long time, but also recently injured All-Star Julius Randle and Ogugua “OG” Anunoby. Donte Divicenzo helped with 26 points.
