The “Select Project: Sport – Educating Communities – Youth – Places – Inclusion” has taken shape with which the Cittadella Vis Modena, together with the partners Caleidos, Academy Modena Judo, Narayana, Arcigay, ASL of Modena, Crossfitteam059 and the Municipality of Modena has been awarded funding for the “Community Civic Spaces” initiative promoted by the Ministry for Sport and Youth, in collaboration with Sport e Salute SpA. The project is a real “call to social participation”, aimed at young people from 14 to 34 years old who was presented yesterday at the “Botti” multipurpose room. The aim is to create a concrete space to welcome young people, enhance their resources, answer their questions, support them in their path to achievement, strengthening the educational values of sport, loyalty and mutual respect. The new “Civic Community Space” will have its headquarters in via Don Elio Monari, 120 where sporting and non-sporting and social activities will be offered free of charge. The “Choose” Civic Space will last two years and will be open to anyone who wishes to register. The program includes sports activities such as football, yoga, martial arts, fitness and extra sports such as “Skholè”, an after-school program for secondary school children, a psychological consultancy desk, a job orientation and professional training desk, info-educational activities for prevention, workshops and recreational games, dog training and dog sports activities. “For over 50 years we have been playing football at a competitive and educational level – explained Marco Lei, president of Cittadella Vis Modena – we hypothesized to undertake a path with greater centrality in the territory to be more at the service of families, expanding to educational and social activities – for this reason, together with other associations, we participated in this tender and with great satisfaction ours was one of the applications accepted”.
