Countdown to Masters 1000 de Indian Wells: Nadal and Djokovic Set to Compete Together

There is less and less time until the start of the Masters 1000 de Indian Wells. The first tournament of the year in this category will begin next Wednesday, March 6, and the best tennis players in the world will compete. Furthermore, there will be an event that has been rare in recent times: seeing Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic competing in the same competition.

Although the draw for the tournament has not yet been held (NdR: it will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 8:00 a.m. in Argentina), the organization made official what day and time the manacorí will compete. As announced, it will do so in the afternoon session on Thursday the 7th, no earlier than 6:00 p.m. (local time).

After two years, Rafael Nadal will be present at the Masters 1000 that takes place in California. His history there includes three trophies won (2007, 2009 and 2013) with a total of 59 victories and only 11 defeats. His last participation took place in 2022 and he reached the final after defeating Sebastian Korda, Daniel Evans, Reilly Opelka, Nick Kyrgios and Carlos Alcaraz.
