The first of seven European Cup tournaments for Judo veterans (over 30 years old) took place in Riga (Latvia) at the weekend. At the premiere of this new competition series, the JC “Vila Vita Pannonia” Wallern was represented by the multiple veteran European Championship and World Cup medalist and reigning world champion Claudia Loos. Unfortunately, she had to admit defeat to Latvian Sandra Barbaka in the decisive battle for tournament victory and thus took second place in the F5 +78 kg class at this European Cup premiere.
