Christian Horner cleared of inappropriate behavior

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has been cleared following an internal investigation into his behavior towards a female colleague.

Allegations of inappropriate and controlling behavior had been leveled against the 50-year-old.

“Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial,” a company spokesperson said.

Horner, who has led Red Bull since 2005, denied the allegations.

He will remain in his role as team principal and CEO of Red Bull F1.

The statement, issued by Red Bull’s headquarters in Austria, adds: “The complainant has the right to appeal.”

Red Bull did not provide details about the allegations or the investigation.

The statement read: “The investigation report is confidential and contains private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all those involved.

“Red Bull will continue to strive to meet the highest standards in the workplace.”

Details of the allegations emerged on February 5.
