Between two immense wings of crowd the last journey of «Rombo di Tuono» towards the monumental cemetery of Bonaria
An enormous crowd gathered in the churchyard of the Basilica of Bonaria, in Cagliari, for the last farewell to Gigi Riva. Moments of great emotion at the exit of the coffin to the tune of «When Gigi Riva will return» by Piero Marras. The coffin was carried on the shoulders of former Italian national team members Fabio Cannavaro, Gigi Buffon, Gianfranco Zola and Angelo Peruzzi. And again: Tomasini, Greatti, Copparoni.
