Baja Californian Archers Aim for Spot on National Team at Senior National Selective Championship

Tijuana, Baja California.- A group of three Baja Californian archers will travel to Mexico City to participate in the Senior National Selective Championship that will take place from March 7 to 10 at the National High Performance Center (CNAR).

“We are at the beginning of a new process, these three archers who travel to the selective do so as part of a project for a new generation of Mexican archers who will seek world championships or even a ticket to go to the Olympic Games,” said Luis Alfaro, coach of the Baja California archery team.

The group of archers that will travel to the Mexican capital is led by Adriana Castillo, Ximena Estrada and Carlos Flores, the third team will compete with the objective of reaching their place to be present in the 2024 World Cup series.

The Baja Californian athletes will participate in the Composite modality, in the case of Castillo, he will reach the national competition with the experience of a Sub 21 world runner-up in Ireland, Estrada won the Conadeip championship last year and Flores was a member of the Baja California team that participated in National CONADE 2022.
