AJA beat Annecy (2-0) this Saturday and keeps its first place.
AJ Auxerre consolidated its first place by winning 2-0 in Annecy during a 25th day of Ligue 2 also marked on Saturday by the crushing victory of Saint- Étienne in Angers (3-0).
Auxerre, undefeated since November 6 (at Guingamp 2-1, 13th day), won with two goals from Florian Ayé (12th) and Lassine Sinayoko (82nd) with a splendid header after the exclusion of his teammate Issa Soumaré.
The AJA thus increases its lead over Angers (2nd), four points behind, and even has nine points over Laval, which once again climbs onto the podium, despite the draw (1-1) conceded at home against Ajaccio (6th). The Laval residents took advantage of the setback (3-1) from Grenoble (4th) to Troyes (15th).
Already beaten at Auxerre last weekend, Angers lost heavily 3-0 on home soil against Saint-Étienne. The Greens find themselves fifth, two lengths behind Grenoble. At the bottom of the ranking Bastia (16th) experienced another disappointment, beaten 2-0 at home by Rodez (8th).
