ATP Rankings Update: Sinner Breaks Into Top 3 as Alcaraz Loses Ground

His pursuer Carlos Alcaraz lost 150 points (9105) after his relatively clear defeat against Jarry (6:7, 3:6) in Argentina. Last year, the youngster from Murcia won the tournament in Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, Sinner created a novelty with his jump into the top 3 – never before in ATP history had an Italian been ranked so well. The South Tyrolean had his recent tournament victory in Rotterdam to thank for displacing Medvedev.

De Minaur kicks Tsitsipas out of the top ten

However, De Minaur still had a small consolation: the Australian pushed past Stefanos Tsitsipas (2990) and Taylor Fritz (3065) into ninth place.

In other words: Tsitsipas, who was tenth before the update, is currently out of the illustrious top ten.

There is nothing new to report regarding Alexander Zverev’s world rankings. The Hamburger remains in sixth place with 5030 points.
