The Italian n.48 in the world will now have to face the n.4, the Russian Daniil Medvedev, on his return to the field after the defeat against Jannik Sinner in the final of the Australian Open. The 28-year-old Muscovite, who beat Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko in two sets, won both previous matches against the Piedmontese. “It’s difficult to play against him. He reached the final in Australia, he’s in form – commented the Turin player -. I’ll have to give my best to have any chance of beating him, but I want to enjoy every moment of the match and have fun”.
