Assessing the Rankings: How Does OKTAGON MMA Stack Up Against the Competition?

In the highly competitive world of MMA, many organizations strive for recognition and supremacy. The server Fight Matrix, which primarily maps the rankings of fighters and fighters, has now published a new ranking of MMA organizations, in which you can assess several criteria and see how your favorite organization is doing. And how did the domestic number one OKTAGON MMA turn out?

It was to be expected! Unfortunately, Vémola has bad news for fans

MMA is probably the most popular combat sport in the world right now, and over a hundred countries have at least one representative participating in one of the thousands of tournaments around the world. However, only a few organizations are important to the average viewer. Each of them claims to be among the largest in the world. It is clear that the UFC is a huge giant that has been unwaveringly holding its number one status for several years now. Long-time runner-up Bellator has become a popular haven for UFC veterans, but was bought out by the PFL at the end of last year, which has retained the Bellator brand and wants to keep it alive to some extent.

For the average Czechoslovak fan, two organizations in particular play a role – the UFC and the domestic number one OKTAGON MMA, which is now expanding into Europe. The Fight Matrix server recently created an organization ranking where you can enter certain criteria and instantly see how your favorite organization is doing based on numbers and objective facts. And it must be said that the domestic OKTAGON did not do badly at all.

In the past, we mainly received rankings that did not stand on solid foundations, but Fight Matrix created a rather interesting functional model in which you can choose from several criteria, which are mainly based on the position of the wrestlers in the current world ranking. Not only thanks to the reinforcements that the OKTAGON organization brought in in the past years, it has created an interesting list of wrestlers who are placed in the world rankings. Specifically, OKTAGON has 115 of them, and thanks to Katharina Dalisda, who is ranked 19th in the straw weight, OKTAGON reached a nice eighth position in the total points of individual names in the world ranking, just behind Polish KSW.

However, if we choose only the number of wrestlers placed in the world ranking, regardless of how many points they have in total, then OKTAGON comes out one place better and is thus ahead of KSW. What is important, however, is that OKTAGON matches the world’s biggest organizations with the number of ranked wrestlers. That is, except for the UFC and ACA, because these leagues are already very advanced. In addition, OKTAGON plans to continue to strengthen, which is also helped by the million pyramids of Tipsport Gamechanger, so it can be expected that the domestic number one in these rankings will grow even more.
