A lecture as part of the internet get-together in the Heilbronn senior citizens’ office caused enthusiasm among the participants. It was about a highly innovative topic, namely AI (artificial intelligence) and in particular image creation with AI.
Wolfgang Arndt, who began his lecture with the words “AI lies as printed,” explained in detail the diverse application possibilities that artificial intelligence has to offer. The participants then specified which keywords (i.e. commands or “prompts”) Arndt should enter. The artificially created images amazed those present, as the depictions were often characterized by brilliance and precision. In addition to the many advantages of AI, how fakes and forgeries can be exposed was also discussed.
This internet get-together led to a significant broadening of horizons. Those present at the lecture also noted down the most important AI providers so that they could start generating images themselves. Some may now know more about AI than their own grandchildren.
