Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp received criticism from supporters Arsenal after celebrating the 3-1 victory over Burnley in Week 24 of the Premier League at Anfield, Saturday (10/2).

Liverpool returned to winning ways after being beaten by Arsenal 1-3 in the previous match. The Reds’ winning goals over Burnley were scored by Diogo Jota (31′), Luis Diaz (52′), and Darwin Nunez (79′).

The full points over Burnley made Liverpool heat up the competition again by climbing to the top of the Premier League standings with a three-point lead over Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp also celebrated his team’s success by throwing fists towards three parts of the Anfield stands, quoted from Metro.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s celebration became the focus of Arsenal fans. The Gunners fans also urged Klopp to immediately enter the hallway to the dressing room.

“Hurry into the tunnel,” said @DexTalksBall.

“Go straight into the tunnel. You’ve won the game. That’s three points. I’m serious,” @DillyLegs chimed in.

Arsenal fans made this criticism because they defended Mikel Arteta. After beating Liverpool, Arteta celebrated to the crowd, but received criticism for his celebration.

One of those who criticized was Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher. Carragher asked Arteta to immediately enter the tunnel.

“Just go into the tunnel, you win the game. It’s three points, you’re brilliant, you’re back in the title race, back on track. Honestly, I’m serious,” said Carragher.

BeIN Sports presenter Richard Keys also criticized Arteta, who urged Arteta to be more dignified in celebrating.

“I hope, first of all, Mikel Arteta will behave better. He behaves again like he did last year before the rules were changed to check him and keep him in the dugout,” said Keys.
