Work is underway in the training categories for the male branch. From February 10 to 20, CeNARD will host the Development Campus for the U15 men’s category. This year, the group has the category’s South American competition ahead of them, in what will be their first official experience representing our country. This will be the first instance of concentration and evaluation for this first group of players.
The work team led by Mariano Marcos and Karina Rodríguez arranged a call for 18 players born in 2009 and 2010. They will work with the focus on individual development and improving the fundamentals of the game throughout eleven days and in double shift. During the experience there will also be workshops on injury prevention and sports psychology. For this occasion, the CAB staff invited four coaches to join the work team.
The National Development Plan is already beginning to bear fruit in this brand new 2024. Two of the players summoned for this occasion were part of the PDF that took place during the month of January in Concepción del Uruguay. It will be the second campus that CeNARD receives this year, since the U15 Development Campus for the female branch is currently being developed, which began on January 26 and will last until February 6.
