Pordenone Fairson the weekend of 15 to 18 February 2024, hosted the Italian Indoor Championshipreserved for the sporting discipline of archery. The Catanzaro company Archers Club Lidoled by Mister Poerio Pierà Edoardo, achieved excellent results with an Italian Title won and an individual Silver.
The highest score in the junior class Olympic division was scored Francesco Poerio Pierà who, after the two Italian titles won in the student class in the previous editions, won the 2024 Italian title and the related gold medal, which earned him the title of Italian Junior Champion. Another important medal is that of Poerio Pierà Anastasia, who wins individual silver in the compound division of the student class. Fifth place in her sporting debut in an Italian championship goes to the very young girl Fabio Ludovica which marks his personal record after just six months of sporting activity following the archery project at school.

Satisfaction on the part of technician Poerio Pierà Edoardo for the results achieved: “the boys have committed themselves to this sporting season with consistency and determination, essential elements in trying to achieve excellent results. The youth sector worked hard, given that we had also qualified three compound teams in the youth sector, but due to technical problems, unfortunately we were unable to compose the teams. Together with those who support us as sponsors, Gillo, Gas Pro, Disport, Arcosport, we have developed top-of-the-line equipment that has allowed us to achieve excellent results. Now we are already thinking about the outdoor season in which we will work as always in order to give our best also in the plate and in the Hunter & Field”.
“With the Gas Pro team (Christian Striuli) and Disport we tested the excellent grip of the new 1.75 soft fins for indoors in the field, testing them in the field, which also allowed us to make excellent settings of the equipment, compound Elite and Olympic all in a Gillo style, accompanied by the excellent Arcospot shooting accessories. Congratulations to the entire away team were received from Messina club president Giuseppe, who was unable to follow the boys to Pordenone due to commitments already made, who thanks the youngsters for their dedication and commitment throughout the season sporty”.
