Six archers from Arcclub Fossano have qualified for the Italian Indoor Archery Championships which will take place in Pordenone from 15 to 18 February, they are: Bertero Lorenzo, Streri Giovanni and Beatrice, Benedicenti Dario, Fruttero Domenico and Mellano Rosanna.
An 18 m indoor youth race took place in Cuneo on Saturday 27 January. organized, in an exemplary way, by the Arcieri dell’Elice.
Arcclub Fossano participated with 17 archers from the youth sector, 5 of which made their debut in their first competition: Rovera Filippo and Tommaso, Buggiafreddo Luca, Barbero Raffaele and De Carlo Irene.
In the Olympic division, student class, 1st place for Giovanni Streri, 2nd place for Dario Benedicenti and 3rd place for Domenico Fruttero and together 1st place for the team. In the student class Manno Rebecca 1st place and Conte Chiara 2nd.
Bertero Lorenzo 2nd in the boys class and Viglietta Federico 5th. Beatrice Streri 1st in the girls class.
In the very young class 1st place for Rovera Giacomo, 2nd place for Bertero Nicolò and 3rd place for Rovera Tommaso and together 1st place as a team, at the foot of the podium Busa Davide. In the very young class Rivoira Giulia 1st and De Carlo Irene 2nd.
The last race, open to all classes, valid for qualifying for the Italian indoor championships, was held in Cuneo on Sunday 28 January.
Arcclub Fossano reached the podium with: Streri Giovanni 1st place in the student class.
Conte Chiara 1st among the students and Manno Rebecca 3rd. Streri Beatrice 1st in the girls class.
In the Compound bow division, with an excellent race, despite being the first, Barbero Federico took 3rd place in the senior class, Rivoira Ivano placed at the foot of the podium.
In the Master class 1st place for Rocchia Osvaldo and 3rd place for Streri Alberto.
In the bare bow division Mellano Rosanna confirmed her excellent form, taking 1st place in the senior class.
Barbero Federico, Rivoira Ivano and Fruttero Michele also got on the podium in 2nd place for the senior class compound team and in the master class compound team 1st place for Rocchia Osvaldo, Streri Alberto and Viglietta Giovanni.
The next important event will be the Italian Championships in Pordenone.
