New prestigious guest at the second edition of the City of Latina International Photography Competition, organized by the Latina Mater ETS association. The rich program of the event includes the meeting with Stefano Unterthiner, an internationally renowned Italian photographer and scientific communicator.
What does it mean to be in the field for National Geographic? What happens behind the scenes? How do you take a great shot? He will reveal it Stefano Unterthiner on April 12th at 7pm at the Cambellotti Museum in Latina in an exciting meeting during which he will tell us about his “wild life”. A life in nature, a strong sensitivity towards wildlife and nature conservation, the impetuous strength of passions: those that make you climb mountains and reach distant places. Some participants will have the exceptional opportunity to show their photographs to Stefano Unterthiner for a one-to-one portfolio reading.
Stefano Unterthiner was born in Aosta in 1970, he began cultivating his love for nature from a young age, exploring the Gran Paradiso Park with his inseparable camera. After a degree in natural sciences and a PhD in zoology at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, he returns to Italy to work as a researcher. Photography continues to be at his side and soon becomes a full-time profession. Author of nine photographic books, he was the first Italian in the history of modern photography to work on behalf of National Geographic. His images are published and exhibited around the world and regularly awarded Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Stefano Unterthiner will also be part of the Jury of this second edition of the competition with Franco Fontana and Laura Zanoni.
