On Sunday, January 28th, 2024, Aliev Sheikh will start at the Judo ÖEM U23 in Bischofshofen.
The Austrian junior fighters showed what they were made of. The strong -73kg weight class with 19 starters didn’t make things easy for Sheikh. He won his first fight against Gubahanov Muhammad (Vienna Samurai) with an O-soto-gari Ippon (full point). In the second fight, despite strong performances, Sheikh lost to Miesenberger Martin (Fairdrive Leonding), who later placed fifth.
