Alicante Hosts Successful Autonomous Judo Championship for Cadet, Children, and Junior Categories

Alicante became, last weekend, the stage where the Autonomous Judo Championship corresponding to the cadet, children and junior categories came to life.

More than 400 judokas gathered on the Alicante tatami to enjoy some of the first competitions of the year during a weekend that certified the first champions of the Valencian Community.

In the male cadet category, the winners of the regional competition were Hugo Flores (-50 kg), Amir Bonillo (-55 kg), Batyrkhan Assanaliyev (-60 kg), Gabriel Vintila (-66 kg), Nacho López de Guereno ( -73 kg), Jaume Navarrete (-81 kg), Daniel Shapovalov (-90 kg) and Luis Daniel Stefan Tudoroiu (+90 kg).

In the female cadet category, the champions were Sara Carrasco (-40 kg), María Jesús Martínez (-44 kg), Laura Molina (-48 kg), Marta Leal (-52 kg), Claudia Morales Imbernon (-57 kg) , Claudia Morales Rosique (-63 kg), Lara Molero (-70 kg) and Claudia Gómez (+70 kg).

With these results, Judo Club Alicante was the champion of the competition with three golds, two silvers and four bronzes. The second position went to Club Judokan Valencia and the third place went to CD Arys San Vicente.

In the boys male category, the champions of the autonomous competition were Daniel Garcia (-38 kg), Hugo Gurrea (-42 kg), Gabriel Jimenez (-46 kg), Mykyta Mykhailov (-50 kg), Marcos Villalon (-55 kg). kg), Kevin Alvarez (-60 kg), Hugo Alvarez (-66 kg) and Marcel Galindo (+66 kg).

In the female children’s category, the winners were Alba Monterde (-36 kg), Zoe Morales (-40 kg), Inés Morales (-44 kg), Carlota Alcibar (-48 kg), Laia Durban (-52 kg), Carmen Navarrete (-57 kg), Ainhoa ​​Gimeno (-63 kg) and Celia Gómez (+63 kg).

With these results, the Chidaoba Judo Club was the winner thanks to its three gold medals and two silver and bronze medals. Valencia Judo Club was second and Judo Club Alicante, third.

In the men’s junior category, the following judokas hung up the gold: Batyrkhan Assanaliyev (-60 kg), Jorge Catala (-66 kg), Adrian Amoros (-73 kg), Stanislav Rybin (-81 kg), Daniel Shapovalov (-81 kg). 90 kg), Ruben Samuell (-100 kg) and Davit Kevlishvili (+100 kg).

In the junior female category, Maryury Tatiana Urena (-48 kg), Joane Buldain (-52 kg), Odaliss Santiago (-57 kg), Martina Obrador (-63 kg), Lara Molero (-70 kg), Carla Capobianco ( -78 kg) and Claudia Gómez (+78 kg).

With these results, the Valencia Judo Club has been the champion of the regional competition of the junior category, adding five gold and five silver medals.
