Over two thousand members invade the city with karate blows. The Adidas Open Italia Karate returns to Riccione in April. The competition is of an international level, so much so that many karateki from foreign countries will participate as well as those arriving from the rest of Italy. By participating in the competitions, Italian athletes will be able to acquire precious points for the national team ranking. The competition represents the annual event of Fijlkam, the Italian Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts Federation. The challenges will be held inside the Playhall in Viale Carpi between 10 and 12 April, while karateki will be able to use the skate track for warm-ups. “The city of Riccione is very happy and grateful to be able to return to host an event of such a high level and prestige in a strategic period, between Easter and the long weekends of April 25th and May 1st, also from a tourist perspective. I thank Adidas, Fijlkam and the Riccione Karate Center” explains the Sports councilor Simone Imola who in recent days in the town hall met the national Adidas manager Emilio Appiana, and Moreno Villa and Manuela Gasperoni of the Riccione Karate Center.
