A computer with security plans for the Olympic Games is stolen from a train in Paris

An employee of the City Council Paris presented last Monday a complaint for the theft of a computer and USB drives that contained security plans for the next Olympic Gameswhich will be held in the French capital from July 26 to August 11.

The BFM television channel confirmed this Tuesday the robbery at the Gare du Nord and also that a police investigation has already been opened. It was 7:30 p.m. on February 26 when this City Council employee, a 56-year-old engineer, reported the theft he had just suffered to the train station police station.

BFM said that the engineer had detailed the contents of his bag, stolen on his way to Creil Sud Oise, and that specifically it was a computer and two USB sticks with “sensitive” information about Parisian city hall plans; A deployment of almost 2,000 security agents is expected, most of them municipal police officers.
