A bus of Nice supporters stoned on its return from Lyon

In a press release, OGC Nice provided its support to the Supporters’ Club whose bus was the target of a stone on the road back Friday evening after the Ligue 1 match in Lyon (1-0), marked by the Aiglons’ criticism of the refereeing by Clément Turpin. The Riviera club mentions an injured person among the supporters in the targeted bus and “calls on the authorities to shed light on this incident, the consequences of which could have been dramatic”.

The club’s general director, Laurent Prud’homme also reacted: “We strongly condemn any violence and hope that the perpetrators of these acts will be found and prosecuted. »

According to Nice-Matin, “several photos are circulating on social networks, showing a big impact on the windshield of the bus”. A few hours earlier, the Ministry of the Interior had banned the arrival of Parisian supporters in Nantes on Saturday (9 p.m.), as part of the 22nd day of L1, due to “real risks” of clashes.
