2024 Judo World Tour: Tashkent to Host Crucial Grand Slam Event for Olympic Qualification

From Friday 1 to Sunday 3 March, the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent will host the third seasonal Grand Slam of the 2024 Judo World Tour. It is a fundamental event for the athletes competing for Olympic qualification, because a maximum of 1000 points will be up for grabs for the winners of each category for the five-circle rankings. Over 500 judokas from 70 different countries, including Italy, are expected in Tashkent. At the moment there are 19 Italians registered for the next Grand Slam on the calendar, with some big names from the Italian movement, they will fight for the podium, with the aim of further climbing the rankings and being among the top seeds for the Olympic draw.
