10 new routes in Briosco on foot and by bike near Milan

10 circular routes from 4 to 20 km

Thanks to the “Cammina Briosco” initiative, promoted by the Enjoy Briosco association, 10 routes have been traced and mapped, from 4 to 20 km in length, also characterized by the fact that they are circular and therefore capable of ensuring a one-way/ I return with ever-changing scenarios and with the convenience of leaving and returning to the exact point where you left the car.

Furthermore, thanks to the precious work of Domenico Flavio Ronzoni, an interesting paper guide was created, again entitled “Cammina Briosco”, which in fact inspired the entire initiative. “The Lambro valley and the modest hills among which the Bevera torrent (which at a certain point even forms a miniature canyon) enliven the landscape and outside the inhabited centers numerous paths still survive, which are beautiful to follow in all seasons, especially in spring and autumn”, writes Ronzoni himself in the preface. “Laid out centuries ago, when people mainly moved on foot, the paths served to connect the three inhabited centers of Briosco, Capriano and Fornaci, but also the latter with the neighboring villages and the numerous farmhouses, sometimes decidedly isolated, scattered throughout the territory”.
