Young Judokas Shine at Competition with 7 Medals and 2 Fifth Places

In Rodez, the youngest members of Judo Bassin Aveyron won 7 medals and 2 5th places. They all managed to get through the group stage to reach the final table, a remarkable journey which proves that the efforts made during training have paid off. Finished 1st: Nolan Karma (- 34 kg); 2nd: Valentin Real (- 30 kg), Enzo Cassagnes (- 34 kg), 2nd Léna Campano (- 36 kg); 3rd: Jayson Delagnes (- 38 kg), Maëll Boscardin De Sousa (- 28 kg), Clara Rotillon (- 57 kg); 5th: Liam Bos (- 34 kg), Yshaq Khoula (- 38 kg). The qualified young competitors will travel to Réalmont for the second stage of the northern regional zone which will take place on March 17.

As for the chicks, they also distinguished themselves at the 2nd departmental animation (Ozanne Feraud Skrypczuk, Imad Benabed, Mélia Thorel, Nathan Canet, Mila Cavalié, Julia Campano and Soan Ladent Lagarde). The 3rd and final round of the departmental council challenge will take place in Decazeville on May 26.

Finally, the minis confirmed the good results obtained during the last grand prix. Champion of Aveyron: Timéo Géraud, vice-champions: Léontine Larcher, Ileana Hamada, Mila Rivière, Élaïa Aygadoux. Bronze medalist: Carlos Luis. The qualified juniors will travel to Cahors on January 28. Let’s wish a good recovery to Kiéra Feraud Skrypczuk who injured her collarbone. Remember that Kiéra finished third at the Coupe d’Occitanie as a junior and was recently a silver medalist at the national junior tournament in Toulouse.
