The reason: He sends a message to studio guest Jan-Niklas Beste (25/Heidenheim), raves highly about the top scorer of the newly promoted Bundesliga team (currently ninth place)!
Jan-Niklas Beste has scored five goals and prepared nine goals in 16 Bundesliga games so far and is particularly feared for his dangerous set pieces

And then announces: “You not only have fans in Heidenheim, but also in Munich. We once asked around from a world champion…”
Schweinsteiger makes a reference to the European Championship
Schweinsteiger then appears and sends a video message to Beste: “Hello Jan-Niklas! I hope you’ve got the right outfit for tonight. Not that easy, right?”
The 2013 triple winner continued: “Your speed, your left foot, standard situations, also how you work against the ball – very strong! I would have liked to have had something like that in my career. I wish you continued success, you and Heidenheim, you’re doing really great. I like watching you.”
Schweinsteiger concluded: “And I am also convinced by your quality that things can continue to improve – if not necessary. Therefore: Please dream and maybe we’ll see each other in the summer… Best regards to the studio and all the best to you. Take care.”

When asked by moderator Voss, Beste was modest about his chances at the European Championships: “Of course I’ve already been asked one or two questions about it. I think it’s still absurd to think about it. I played in the second division six months ago. I also know how fast the football business is now. I think I only played my 16th Bundesliga game today. I know how to bake little rolls.”
Schweinsteiger obviously sees things differently…
