In a district of Châlons-en-Champagne, a first group of young people went to meet a second. Having probably ventured onto the land of a deal point, but a priori not to come and look for drugs, the individuals were ordered by the other gang in the presence to leave the premises. “ Without us yet knowing for what reasons at this stage, a young man took out a baseball bat », Specifies François Schneider, public prosecutor of Reims. A general fight ensued. Another young person from the first group, seeing his friend in bad shape, decided to help him and found himself in an unfortunate situation. Only one person was brought before the courts on Tuesday. The latter was indicted for attempted murder of the two other young people (the one with the baseball bat and the one with a life-threatening condition). The individual is placed in pre-trial detention. (…)
