The second and third races of the virtual championship Real Racers Never Quit provided a lot of spectacle on Tuesday evening. Max Verstappen participated in Team Redline’s virtual races and came first and third at Silverstone and Mugello after a spectacular evening.

Real Racers Never Quit was initially conceived as a virtual competition during the corona period, so that drivers could stay in rhythm and also entertain the fans. Even now that the corona crisis is behind us, drivers will continue to participate in the championship during the winter break, which will last until February 9. Not only Verstappen, but other well-known names such as Felipe Drugovich, Gabriel Bortoleto and many more racers compete against sim drivers.

Two races

Two races were scheduled for Tuesday: a race with Formula 3 cars at the Silverstone circuit (6:00 PM), after which the race in F4 cars started at 8:00 PM at the Mugello circuit. Verstappen qualified for both races in P1 and won the first race of the evening in the F3 cars. The race on the Mugello circuit, in F4 cars, went a little less smoothly. After a crazy race, the Dutchman finished third behind race winner Chris Lulham and Diogo Pinto, who finished second. Three of them crossed the line, leaving only 0.011 seconds between the three drivers. So P1 and P3 for Verstappen on Tuesday.

Real Racers Never Quit continues next week. On January 30, there will be a virtual race with F3 cars at the Virginia International Raceway and an F4 race at Motorland Aragon. Finally, it ends with a GT3 race on the Fuij circuit. This race will be held on February 9. Watch the qualifications and races in full below.
