Usain Bolt at the wheel of a Formula E before the Mexico E-prix

The world record holder for 100 meters and 200 meters, Usain Bolt, tried his hand at Formula E on Friday by getting into the seat of the Genbeta on the Mexico circuit. The former Jamaican athlete was able to test the car on a full lap of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit, where the Mexico City E-Prix is ​​being held on Saturday.

Bolt accelerated from the start line, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.89 seconds and covering 100m in 4.36 seconds – 5.22 seconds faster than his 100m world record of 9, 58 seconds. He was able to fully appreciate the 400 kW power of the Genbeta.
