Benfica formalized the signing of Brazilian Marcos Leonardo this Friday. The 20-year-old striker, presented as one of his country’s greatest hopes, has signed a contract which runs until 2029 with the Lusitanian club. He wore the colors of Santos, who he was unable to save from relegation to Brazilian Serie B.
Close to AS Roma this summer, the U23 international scored 21 goals in 49 matches last season with his club. The amount of the transfer is estimated at 18 million euros.
