The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup has been held. Defending champions Manchester City will travel to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur!
The draw for the fourth round, aka the top 32 of the FA Cup, was held on Tuesday (9/1/2024) early morning WIB. The drawing gave rise to a number of interesting matches.
One of them is the Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City duel. Man City is the defending champion, but it is worth noting that recently they have suffered bad results at Spurs headquarters.
Man City have always lost their last five away matches to the north London club. The most recent meeting took place in the Premier League in February last year, when Harry Kane’s single goal won for The Lilywhites.
The two of them met this season at the Etihad in the Premier League last December. This should also be an alarm for the Citizens, considering that Spurs were able to hold them 3-3.
Another interesting meeting is Chelsea vs Aston Villa. Chelsea, which has begun to prioritize tournaments such as the FA Cup amidst its difficulties in the Premier League, hosted Villa, who are currently soaring.
While Chelsea is stuck in 10th position in the Premier League, Villa is actually competing at the top. They are in second place, three points behind Liverpool.

They will face the winner between Newport County vs Eastleigh. Newport is a League Two team, aka division four, while Eastleigh is one level below (division five), namely the National League.
