In a tour taken this Friday through the terminal, it was seen that the Cancún station remains unfinished, and that this causes discomfort to travelers and people looking to purchase tickets.

The roof of the second floor where the waiting room, the “Food Court” or restaurant area, bathrooms, convenience stores and other services will be located remains unfinished.

The station does not yet have a waiting room or an arrivals room, passengers move on the platforms to get on and off the train.

The escalator that had been placed at the main entrance was removed and construction work continues, although there is no longer any rush to finish.

The depot where the trains spend the night is unfinished, it lacks tracks, as well as alternate arrival and departure routes.

Signage, station access, lighting and other works and services are needed so that the train station can operate at 100 percent.
