The Rostock Seawolves’ home games in the Basketball Bundesliga are often sold out. The club continues to grow – in recreational and professional sports.

The Rostock Seawolves are the number one basketball location in Germany with almost 4,100 members, including 2,000 with player passes. The rapid growth of basketball players is making it increasingly difficult to get training time. A hall project that had already been rejected is now being discussed again.

Rostock. When the new membership numbers of the basketball Bundesliga clubs were published last week, it was an occasion for the Seawolves office to pop the corks. For the first time in history, the Rostock club has the most active members nationwide – more than Alba Berlin, more than the basketball department of FC Bayern Munich. The club has almost 4,100 members. There are around 3,000 girls and boys under 18 who wear the Seawolves jersey during training and league games.
