The notes of the Málaga CF players, one by one

The highlight

Moussa (7)

Brave. The best of the three center backs. Forceful, quick to cut, good from the top and daring with the ball. He saw a yellow card at the beginning of the second half and was soon substituted. In the minutes that he was on the field he barely missed and was very difficult for Castellón’s attackers to overcome.

The team

Alfonso Herrero (5)

He didn’t have to make interventions of much merit, but it was at an acceptable level. The header of the goal was unattainable for him. He wanted to organize the team at the beginning of the offensive game.

Jokin Gabilondo (6)

Tireless, he went up the wing again and again trying to create danger on the right wing. He put in the occasional cross that was close to ending in a goal. He left everything in the green.

Juande (4)

Back to the team after his injury. He’s missing games. He wasn’t bad, but he has to pick up more pace. He saw yellow in the first half and in the second Pellicer decided to replace him.

Einar Galilea (5)

He had a lot of work, he suffered to hold off attackers faster than him. He had a good first half, at the axis of a defense of three centre-backs. He was close to scoring with a header.

Dani Sánchez (6)

He generated danger on the left side playing as a winger, especially in the first half. He put the occasional cross into the area with a lot of danger. He suffered in defense behind.

Manu Molina (3)

Very loose. He still hasn’t made a leap in quality to the center of the field, which is what is expected of him. Very slow in making decisions and imprecise in long journeys.

Sangalli (4)

Again, injured. He was putting together a decent performance, but he had to leave the pitch after 36 minutes with muscle problems. He will be away again for several weeks.

Dani Lorenzo (4)

He tries in every way, but this time he couldn’t make a difference near the rival area. It was difficult for him to combine with his teammates. He lacked fang in the final meters.

Dioni (4)

La Rosaleda squeezes you every time you drive excessively. Slow on some occasions to go on the counterattack. He missed the occasional pass that would have led to a good counterattack.

Roberto (5)

Isolated, unattended. He ends the games very fatigued due to the defensive effort and that penalizes him when opportunities arise. He had some good opportunities that he came to very forced.

Dock

Be Merino (5): He complied. He came off the bench to replace Sangalli and was good both as a midfielder and as a centre-back.
Larrubia (4): He wanted to be the protagonist with the ball but things didn’t work out for him. He brings something different, but he needs to be more definitive.
Kevin (4): At half throttle. It was difficult for him to overwhelm him, he was well marked, sometimes by grabbing. Desperate.
Victor García (4): He barely had an impact on the game in the final minutes when he came on for Dani Sánchez
Juan Hernandez (4): Nothing remarkable. No impact in search of a tie.
